The DSS Office of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) monitors the agency's affirmative employment plans and programs. It assists the DSS management in achieving a diverse workforce and in assuring that the Agency is in compliance with pertinent Federal laws, Executive Orders, and DOD Directives and Policies relating to equal employment opportunity. Having responsibility for the administration and enforcement of equal opportunity, the DSS EEO Office manages an effective and fair EEO Complaints Program. Under its purview, the following special emphasis employment programs have been established: Women, Blacks, Hispanic, Asian Pacific Islander, Native American and Disability.
