MEMORANDUM FOR EMPLOYEES AND APPLICANTS FOR EMPLOYMENT

SUBJECT: Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Counselor Listing

Listed below are the names, telephone numbers and locations of the Equal Employment Opportunity Counselors within the Defense Security Service. The EEO Counselors are available to provide counseling to employees and to applicants for employment, who believe that they have been discriminated against on the basis of their race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex (including sexual harassment), physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, or retaliation for having participated in a protected EEO activity.

Employees and applicants who believe that they have been discriminated against must initiate contact with an EEO counselor within 45 days of the date of the alleged discriminatory act or effective date of the personnel action.

Employees, former employee, and applicants for employment have the right to remain anonymous during the counseling process and have the right to be accompanied by a representative of their choice at anytime during the EEO process.
